- Example: On a $100K account, the max risk per idea is $3,000.
Inactivity Rule: If no trade is opened or closed within 30 consecutive days, the account is automatically closed.
The 2-Step Model has two phases to prove your trading skills:
Phase I

- News trading allowed. Hedging allowed. Copy trading allowed. Weekend holding allowed.

Rules & Requirements
Your equity or balance must not drop below 10% of the initial account size. Breaching this limit results in immediate account closure.
Example: $100,000 account → cannot fall below $90,000
The 3% Rule is strictly enforced across all Live Account models, including Step 1 Live, Step 2 Live, and Direct Live Accounts.
Rule Definition: No single trade may result in a loss exceeding 3% of the initial account balance.
- Applies only to Live Accounts, not challenge/evaluation phases
- Splitting positions or scaling in/out counts as one trade if part of the same trade idea
- A $100,000 Live Account → max loss per trade = $3,000
- A $50,000 Live Account → max loss per trade = $1,500
The maximum loss in a single day is 5% of the higher value of balance/equity. Resets daily at 00:00 CEST (Server Time).
- Higher Equity: $105k balance, $107k equity → cannot drop below $101,650 that day
- Higher Balance: $100k balance, $99k equity → cannot drop below $95,000 that day
Yes, a stop loss is mandatory for all trades. If a stop loss is not set within 2 minutes of entering a trade, the position will be automatically closed.
All trades are expected to remain open for a minimum of 3 minutes or longer.
- Trades closed in less than 3 minutes may be subject to review
- Profits from trades shorter than 3 minutes may be excluded during payout processing
- Repeated violations may impact your account standing
Trading Guidelines
During Evaluation Stage:
- No restrictions on holding trades during news events or weekends
- However, purposely trading news is prohibited and will lead to account termination
During Live Account:
- You may hold trades during news events and weekends
- Profits from trades opened/closed within 5 minutes before or after high-impact news will not count unless the trade was opened at least 5 hours before the event
Any use of prohibited trading strategies will result in an immediate Hard Breach of the account.

Important:
- Copy trading with other users or account management by third-party vendors is not permitted.
- Third-party Expert Advisors (EAs) are allowed only if they function strictly as trade management or risk management tools.
The IP rule ensures account integrity and security. The region of the IP address used to purchase the evaluation, log in to Funded Gems website, and access your account must remain consistent.
- You are free to travel and access your account from different locations
- Our system monitors changes to ensure they follow a logical pattern
- VPS/VPN is permitted; may require proof of ownership if regional change is detected
- Static IP VPS/VPN can be whitelisted
The Maximum Lot Exposure Limit defines the total lots you can have open at any given time (applies to 2-Step Live Accounts only).
- $5,000 account: No limit
- $10,000 account: No limit
- $25,000 account: Maximum 10 lots

Payouts & Rewards
Setting Your Reward Cycle:
- Log in to your dashboard
- Go to the credentials section in the upper right corner
- Click the "Set Reward Cycle" button
Reward Timeframe: Typically processed within 1–3 working days. Allow an additional 1–2 working days for the reward to appear in your wallet.
Minimum Reward: 1% of the initial account balance (including our share).
Traders may submit a withdrawal request after completing 14 calendar days from the date the Master Account is issued.
Submitting before the 14-day period will be treated as a Soft Breach. The request may be rejected and the account marked as violated.
We support multiple secure payment options:
- Cryptocurrency (BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC)
Available methods may vary by region. Fees depend on the payment provider.
Once you successfully complete all evaluation stages and receive four rewards on your Live Account, you will automatically be eligible for a refund. The refund is processed together with your 4th reward payout.
Account Management
After your evaluation is approved, you will need to complete KYC verification.
- Log in to your Funded Gems account
- Go to Dashboard → Settings → Verify
- Submit: Government ID, Selfie, and Proof of Address
Each trader may only hold one verified account. KYC typically takes only a few minutes.
The onboarding process typically takes 2 working days to integrate with our risk management system. You will only be able to set your reward cycle and enable trading once onboarding is fully completed.
After completing the evaluation stage, Step 2 Model traders can merge their Real accounts or keep them separate.
- Only Real accounts from the same Step 2 Model can be merged
- Merging combines the Lot Exposure Limit (max 40 lots even for merged accounts above $100,000)
Initial account sizes: $25,000, $50,000, or $100,000. As you progress, you can manage up to $300,000 across multiple accounts.
If a trading account remains inactive for 30 consecutive days (no trading activity), it will be automatically marked as expired and cannot be reactivated under any circumstances.
